We understand that as a student your studies and assessment preparation may on occasion be affected by different factors, including extenuating circumstances. If you experience any circumstances which do impact your ability to complete or submit an assessment then you have the option to apply for Extenuating Circumstances (ECs). This can be in relation to continuous assessments and/or final exams. Please explore the EC processes below.
Continuous Assessment
ECs for tests, coursework assignments, and missed compulsory teaching activity
- If you are experiencing any difficulties please contact the Student Experience and Information Team so we can ensure you are being appropriately supported. We are here to help.
- If you have on-going circumstances related to your health, mental health or Wellbeing, you can complete the Student Support Form to apply for permanent teaching and assessment provisions, if you are eligible to do so.
