Our Career Development Course has 16 units covering a variety of topics that can help you with your career planning and is available 24/7. Access the information you need, right when you need it!

We also have a Graduate Career Development Course specifically tailored to support you after you’ve graduated. To gain access, sign up to our Graduate Support Programme.

EmploymentZone

EmploymentZone is our digital jobs board. We work with local, national, and international employers to advertise placements, internships, part-time roles and graduate level jobs, all listed in one place.

You’ll also get access to:

Get ready for interviews with our online tool Short List Me. Simulate a real interview, rehearse, and record your responses, before getting AI feedback. You can choose from a range of sector specific roles and organisations to gain relevant experience in your field.

Profiling For Success

Discover more about yourself, your values and jobs you may like with Profiling For Success, delivered by Team Focus. This online tool can help you explore career options and planning your next steps.

Practice for the different assessments used in the recruitment process, including assessments on areas of your personality, capability, motivation and relationships.

To access Profiling For Success:

1. Log in to Swansea University's network, then sign in.
   If this is your first time using the platform, you’ll need to create an account. Enter your name and the first part of your email address, before choosing a password and click on ‘Create Account’. You’ll then be sent an email containing a link to confirm your email address (check your junk/spam folders if you can’t find the email).

1. If this is a repeat visit, just sign in and enter your login details.
2. Chose the test you would like to complete e.g. the values based indicator of motivation test.
3. You’ll then receive a personal report by email once you have completed each test. 

Please use your student e-mail address when prompted, this will ensure your reports arrive.

eCareersGrad; Interview Support & International Student Specific Guidance

ECareersGrad is a video-based, interactive career platform that provides three courses to help prepare students and graduates for the competitive world of graduate-level employment. Courses available include: International Students: Target the Right UK Employer, Interview Success and Master the Commercial & Consulting Case.
