Individual Schools may apply further specific eligibility criteria if demand for the programme exceeds the number of students they are able to support.
There is no cost associated with applying for AFHEA through this route.

If you are eligible and interested in participating in the programme, you must first discuss this with your supervisor to ensure it is feasible for you given your progress with your research and the scope of your teaching activities. Your supervisor will need to note their agreement for you to complete the AFHEA programme on the progression system.
After gaining approval from your supervisor, get in touch with the contact person for the AFHEA programme in your School.
