Away from university I'm based in Bournemouth, England where my parents dog, and rabbits currently live. I enjoy cycling to uni (usually in the rain!) and at the weekends go for occasional swims and board game nights with others from the office.

BEING A SUBJECT REPRESENTATIVE
I took on the role of student rep to help act as the bridge between the university along with their policies and approaches, and the students who work there. I hope to achieve an easy passage of communication between the students and those who can make change for the better in the working environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
The responsibilities of the student rep are to provide feedback to and communicate with the university regarding any potential improvements that can be made. The role also includes being approachable to the students and organising meetings throughout the year.
MY CURRENT STUDIES...
My current research is in the area of mathematical biology, in particular it uses mathematics to study the effects that fat levels has on cancer growth over time. It blends computer science, mathematics, and biology to help predict a patients outcome and what treatment would be best tailored for their specific needs.
