I'm a second-year PhD candidate researching semiconductors. I'm from Iraq initially. Being an international student, attending a university abroad makes my studies more exciting and adventurous, as well as helping me to secure a bright future and gain greater work experience. I enjoy spending time with my family and my two adorable daughters while watching movies in my spare time.

BEING A SUBJECT REPRESENTATIVE

I may have a deeper grasp of the subject I'm studying if I acted as a subject representative. Being a subject representative is a very enjoyable experience for improving knowledge and having a better idea about the interest area and the major field you work on.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

To spread excitement about what we're doing, simply introduce my topic to others. To help Swansea University become better, I will do my best to communicate student thoughts with our colleagues.

MY CURRENT STUDIES...

I'm hoping to strengthen my academic background and have a wide variety of technical abilities that will aid in achieving additional professional advancements. My research focuses on how MOSFET semiconductors can be improved for the true 5 nanometer (nm) node and beyond to have a superior device architecture that uses Gate-All-Around (GAA) stacked nanosheets, leading to super processors with higher computing performance and lower power consumption.
