Throughout my entire life, Neath Port Talbot has been my home. For the past 7 years, I have studied mathematics at Swansea University, completing my undergraduate, master's, and PhD here. Besides my passion for mathematics, I enjoy embarking on hikes and exploring new places around the world. Upon completing my PhD, I plan to travel more, visit each continent, and even consider moving to another country.

 BEING A SUBJECT REPRESENTATIVE

Throughout my PhD so far, I have taken on the role of a student ambassador and student helper. The role entails engaging with students who are uncertain about pursuing higher education, whether it be attending university or taking on postgraduate studies. The opportunity to support and guide these students based on my own experiences holds tremendous value to me. Seeing a student take my advice and witnessing their successful journey into university truly brightens up my day.

My goal is to listen attentively to students' perspectives on university life, both positively and negatively. I aim to work with staff to improve the overall student experience.

MY CURRENT STUDIES...

I am involved in Biomathematics, where we focus on creating mathematical models of cancer growth. Working with real data provided by pharmaceutical companies where you can watch cancer cells grow in the laboratory is captivating. It is amazing to know that the practical applications of this work can truly contribute to the field of mathematical oncology.
