Harbwr Fulton - Your New Singleton Campus Social Space

Harbwr Fulton is a new social space on Singleton Park Campus – in the former Refectory, on the first floor of Fulton House.

This refurbishment of the Refectory and surrounding areas forms part of a phased programme to redevelop and refresh the entirety of Fulton House into a student focused hub at the heart of campus.

Harbwr Fulton provides a comfortable and welcoming meeting point in the middle of campus for everyone to enjoy. The name for this inviting new space reflects Swansea University’s seaside location, along with our Welsh identity. It builds on the concept that the revamped  space will be a place of safety, which gives the feeling of coming "home", like when boats return to harbour.

Harbwr Fulton offers a multi-functional social and activity space, with a mix of seating options, booths and digital installations and a unique, outdoor ‘Terrace’ area, maximising our unrivalled position on Swansea Bay. 

There will also be a dedicated games room within the former Room West, which will open in October, where you can meet as a group, relax and unwind, or challenge friends to some table football, pool or a game of monopoly.

Eating and Drinking at Harbwr

A new kitchen and servery which will support Harbwr will open later this term.  This will serve a range of food concepts to suit all tastes and budgets, including Peruvian inspired dishes, American classics and home cooked comfort foods.

In the meantime, staff and students can still get a great variety of food and drink options to enjoy at Harbwr, from our temporary kitchen to the east of Fulton House, click and collect and delivery services via the Uni Food Hub app, or at any of the other outlets on campus.

  • The space will be open from 8am until 11pm.
  • Kitchen Hours - 8am - 8pm

Available facilities

Harbwr Fulton is well equipped with a wide range of facilities. With a range of seating options including comfy sofas, booth style and tiered seating areas, this fantastic social space comes complete with a giant tv screen, WC facilities just outside and lots of places to charge up your devices. You can also enjoy views across the bay outside on the terrace or shoot some pool, play table football or tennis or perhaps a quiet game of monopoloy with friends in the adjacent games room.

Games Room

All board games/bats and other items are held behind the bar in JC’s and are owned by Swansea University Students' Union. You can book out any of the items available via JC’s bar, using your student card as a deposit. When the equipment is returned to the bar, your student card will also be returned. If board games and items are not returned, a charge will be applied for loss or damage.
