The GO! Programme

Social Activities, Events and Volunteering Opportunities

International@CampusLife's GO! Programme of events, activities and trips gives students the opportunity to make the most of their student experience. We'd love to see you get involved in as many activities as possible throughout the year.

Be sure to visit our Arrival, Enrolment and Social Activities page and our event listings on Native to learn about all things that are happening, both online and in-person, to welcome you to Swansea University this year!

We run a wide variety of GO! Trips, GO! Socials, GO! Eat and other GO! Events throughout the year - we'd love you to be part of them. Not everyone can attend in-person events right now, so we also have virtual events to help you discover and learn about some places that we run in-person trips to. Be sure to check them out!

Getting involved as much as possible is a great way to meet people, feel part of the university community and settle into your new home. Our activities are always advertised on our social media pages, so give us a follow to make sure you don't miss anything. You can find our social media sites, where you can see some of the stuff we have done in the past and what's coming up in the future, by heading to:

GO! Team Volunteers

Our packed GO! Social Programme would not be able to run without the assistance of our fantastic volunteers, the GO! Team

The GO! Team are a special group of student volunteers from all over the world who help us deliver our social programme throughout the year by giving up their time to run trips and activities. We work hard to ensure our GO! Team's volunteer hours are correctly logged and recognised with a special award, celebrating their achievement, which they can take forward to future employers.

We encourage all our students to involve themselves with a volunteer project if they are able. Swansea University's resident volunteer programme, DiscoverySVS, offer a wide range of volunteer projects to suit all tastes.
