Congratulations on securing a place to study at the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science-  School of Medicine

We can’t wait to meet you during induction week and wanted to give you some important hints and tips before you join us for induction. Remember, for your specific programme induction, check out your induction schedule here and any Zoom links will be in your Welcome Email!

On this page, you will find key information that you can refer to ahead of and during your studies with us. We hope that this will get you excited about starting University and will hopefully help to settle any nerves you may have.

Please come and grab your goodie bag from the Student Expereince and Information Team in Grove Reception Singleton Park during your induction week- goodie bags are first come first serve so be quick!

Other Information

Please note that this programme is not available as distance learning or online remote learning, so you will need to be present in the UK and ready to commence your studies  

There is no provision for you to start your studies remotely, and if you miss any of the first module you will need to defer your place until September 2023 depending on your offer and mode of study (i.e. full or part time).

Induction Timetable- January 2023

Monday 16th January 2023

January 16th is the first day of teaching for the first module (PMIM102J Scientific Computing in Healthcare) which will incorporate induction information.

Students MUST attend from 9am until 5pm

The session will be in the 1st-floor Computer Lab. in the Data Science Building on Singleton Campus.
