Welcome to Year 1 of your Civil Engineering degree. Regardless of your path to get here, you now face exciting challenges and opportunities over the next few years! Make the most of your Welcome Week activities to understand your course, university policies, and support mechanisms.
Please participate in the social events planned which will help you to get to know your new classmates – you will be working closely with them very soon.As your year coordinator, I will be dealing with any issues that arise in Year 1, providing support and being a point of contact for your feedback. The coming weeks will be challenging, so don’t hesitate to seek help from academics, reception, library, student support, and technical teams.
