Join the Faculty EDI team for pizza and Zine making as you receive an introduction to the diverse community you are joining within Science and Engineering.

13:00 - 16:00  - All Faculties Welcome Fayre - Atrium, Engineering North

Find out more about ways to get involved, access support when you need it and make sure you have everything you need in place for your first week of teaching. There’ll also be chance to take part in competitions and get some freebies.

09:00 - 10:00 - An Essential Guide to Your Studies - B004, Engineering Central

Come and meet your Faculty Student Experience and Information Team who are here to support you throughout your studies. This session is an opportunity to explore the support available to you as a student and any questions you may have about studying at the University.

10:00 - 12:00 - MSc Computer Science Welcome Talk - 002, Computational Foundry

Key Academic Staff from your Department will provide you an overview of what to expect on the MSc Computer Science.

12:00 – 14:00 – Health and Safety Module Enrolment – C101, Engineering Central

All Postgraduate Taught students are required to enrol on and complete a Health and Safety module via Canvas, the online learning platform. As you wait for your programme talk / Social, please come to C101 if you would like to use the time to complete this. Please note you will need to have completed your enrolment to your programme to log on.

14:00 - 17:30 - MSc Computer Science Social - 002, Y Twyni

Join your peers for a social to welcome all new MSc students to the Department of Computer Science. As part of this session, we will be providing lunch to include a variety of options for those with dietary requirements including Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal. If you have an allergy (e.g. nuts, gluten), please let us know by no later than 12pm on the 18th September by completing this short Microsoft Form.
