Student using video chat on a tablet

When you’re working remotely, it can be a challenge to stay in touch with others. Whether it’s working with peers on a group project or making new friends in socially distant times, this page has ideas to help you stay connected at university.

Loneliness and isolation are difficult at the best of times, but particularly so at the moment. Stay in regular contact with others and remember to check in with your friends to make sure they’re ok too. If you’re struggling or know someone who is, please tell someone. The university’s support services are here for you and you can also look for help on the Students’ Union Advice and Support page.
