European Credit Transfer System Grade Conversion Tables
All institutions in Europe involved in exchange/collaborative arrangements publish a grade conversion table based around ECTS equivalent grades and the modules results achieved by students within the ECTS percentages. These tables act as a guide for the home University in translating the letter and numerical grades achieved by students studying at a host University.
Swansea University's undergraduate and postgraduate grade conversion tables are published in the Academic Regulations for use by our exchange and collaborative partners in conjunction with transcripts, to convert the academic result achieved in Swansea by students studying via exchange arrangements, or as part of collaborative programmes into grades for the home University. A reference to converting marks will be available in the appropriate programme handbook.
