Student Hall Reps

The Student Hall Rep system is a partnership between the Students’ Union and Residential Services.

We want to appoint Student Hall reps to work closely with the Students’ Union and Residential Services to ensure that students voices, interests and opinions and are represented in matters relating to our residences, student experience and building a better community within residences.

It is a Rep’s job to listen, collate and communicate the views of the students. Reps will work with the Students’ Union and Residential Services on progressing issues, preventing complaints, encouraging improved engagement and will be required to take active ownership providing constructive feedback and help to make a difference within residences. This role aims to enable students to take a more active role in their halls and living experience and makes sure Swansea University continues to be an amazing place to live and study.

Reps will also be required to participate in campaigns run by the Students’ Union and Residential Service as part of the ResLife programme to make a positive impact on halls of residences and the university.

If you are interested in making a change, supporting your student community within residences, and learning new skills then apply today.
Email accommodation@swansea.ac.uk for further information and to apply for this volunteer role.
