Using Zoom is an easy and free way to communicate via the internet. You will need a PC that has either a webcam attached or an inbuilt camera to make video calls, headphones/speakers and a microphone. You can also access Zoom using your phone or tablet once the app is installed.
Book an appointment with a member of the Student Information Team and type 'Online Appointment' in the 'If other' section at the bottom of the page. We will then contact you with a meeting ID number to use.
Using Zoom on a desktop PC
Go to https://swanseauniversity.zoom.us click on 'Join', and when prompted, enter the Meeting ID you have been sent. Follow the instructions, and test your sound if necessary.
Using Zoom on a mobile device
You will need to download the Zoom app from your app store before your appointment if you are using a mobile device. Open your app, click on join a meeting and when prompted enter the Meeting ID you have been sent. Follow the instructions, and test your sound if necessary.
