Your Postal Address

Your full postal address can be found here.

You should structure your postal address as follows and include this on any mail:
Your Name / Room Number / Flat Number/ Building Name

Your name should appear as it does on your student account; nicknames cannot be recognised on the system. Additionally, adding your student number can assist us with logging your parcel when there are multiple students with the same or similar name.

Bay Campus Residents

Each flat has an allocated post box located on the ground floor of each building.
This is shared with other members of your flat, and Bay Campus Residences cannot be held responsible for missing items of post.
Each flat will be given one key for the shared post box and you will need to agree with your flatmates how to keep the key safe and who will be responsible for collecting the post.
A replacement fee will be applied for any lost post box keys.

Beck House Residents

Letters are sorted and be collected from your Site Reception.
Please ensure you bring photo ID with you (e.g. your student ID card) when collecting items.

Seren Residents

Letters are sorted into communal post boxes, located in the cycle store room, near Reception.
Please speak with Reception should you require assistance.

Singleton Park Campus Residents

Letters are sorted into the Mail Box Room, to the right of the residents’ entrance in Preseli building.
You will be issued with a key when checking-in to access the mailbox for your flat.

true student Residents

Post is delivered to the accommodation once per day and letters can be collected from the Welcome desk.

Parcels and Other Post

Parcels and other post can be collected from:

Bay Campus: Accommodation Reception, located next to the Laundrette.
Monday to Friday – 09:00 – 17:00

Singleton Park Campus: Preseli Reception
Monday to Friday – 09:00 – 17:00

All other sites: Your Residence Site Reception during opening times.

If a parcel or registered mail has been received, you will receive an automated email which will be sent to your student email account (or Home at Halls notification for Bay Campus residents).
Please wait untill you receive the email from the team before coming to collect a parcel.
You may receive tracking updates advising that the parcel is with a courier who has delivered this to the University; the parcels have to be added to our system before they can be collected, so please wait for the automated email.
You must bring with you photographic ID (ideally your student ID card) when you come to collect registered mail and parcels.
Due to the high volume of registered mail and parcels that are received, residents are requested to collect parcels within 48 hours of receiving the automated email; parcels not collected may be returned to sender.
Accommodation teams reserve the right to refuse any parcels we deem to be suspicious due to Health & Safety risks. If a parcel is refused, we will inform the student and if a redelivery is arranged, we will require confirmation of the contents.

Mail forwarding

You should ensure that you collect any mail or parcels prior to the end of your tenancy contract period.
We are unable to forward letters to residents who have left, due to the quantity of post we receive. For a fee, you can arrange with Royal Mail to have mail redirected to another address via Redirection.

Accommodation teams accept no liability for mail and parcels that are left unclaimed after the end of the contract period. However, mail sent via Royal Mail will be returned to Royal Mail as 'Return to sender'. We are regretfully unable to return items sent via other couriers.

Abandoned goods will be kept for a maximum of four weeks (excluding perishable items), after which the goods will be disposed of. Please avoid ordering any parcels 2 weeks prior to moving unless they are to your new address.
