What's On
We collaborate extensively with a variety of employers, from small businesses to larger multinational companies to provide Swansea students with opportunities to interact with prospective employers. Here are some of the events we organise:
- Careers Fairs – our flagship Careers Fair attracts thousands of students each year. It’s held in October each year, in line with the recruitment cycle for many of the larger organisations attending. Industry specific careers fairs are held throughout the year too.
- Part-time Jobs Fairs – held at the start of the academic year, the par-time jobs fair attracts local companies who want to hire students, like you, for part-time jobs.
- Employer Talks – hear from professionals working in your field of interest to discover career opportunities, get advice on application processes and ask questions.
- Meet the Employer – have an informal chat with representatives from a variety of organisations. Ask questions about opportunities which may be available for you and learn more about what an organisation does.
- Employability Skills Day – an opportunity to build professional skills such as networking, taking part in mock interviews, and discovering career pathways you may not have considered before.
