Coronavirus Recovery: advice and latest information

Sport is an integral part of student life at Swansea University.

Whether you’re an elite athlete, compete at a high level or you're a complete novice looking to get fit or improve your social life, Swansea University student sport offers a vibrant and welcoming sporting community in which lifelong friendships are formed.

With over 50 sports clubs to choose from, there really is something for everyone. So no matter if its rugby or aikido, dodgeball, hockey or tae kwon do, we’re sure you'll find your dream team at Swansea.

Once you’ve joined a sports club at Swansea University, you’ll never be stuck for something to do. With regular training sessions, local leagues, national competitions and, of course the occasional club social, there’s never a dull moment with Sport Swansea.

For those who prefer to watch from the side-lines, you can still be part of our Sport Swansea family. We encourage everyone to get involved in our sporting programme and regard our spectators as a key component of the Swansea Green and White Army.

Whether you’re part of a club or you just want to watch, Welsh Varsity is, of course, the biggest event in our Swansea sporting calendar. The biggest student sporting extravaganza in Wales, with over 40 events in one epic day, it’s the culmination of our sporting year but it's way more than sport; it's a Swansea tradition you just have to experience!

Below you’ll find everything you need to know about getting involved in sport at Swansea University, including how to join the club of your choice and what you get from your student sport membership. We really hope you’ll come and join us!
