The Student Rep system (Education Zone) is a partnership between the Students’ Union and University. A student rep is a student elected to represent their peers and act as the student voice for their course.
There are over 400 student reps, across all disciplines, colleges and campuses. The student reps work with the University to take active ownership of the learning experience, provide constructive feedback and help make a different to how their courses and departments are run.
Student reps are highly valued and able to attend University meetings and projects, to ensure the student voice is heard. Student reps often participate in campaigns run by the Students’ Union Education Officer, or run their own campaign to make a positive impact on their College and University.
