Coronavirus Recovery: advice and latest information

All health boards in Wales are currently offering Covid-19 vaccinations for 18-30 years olds. If you are registered with a local GP you will be proactively contacted with details of your vaccination appointment. However, you may still access the vaccination by contacting your local health board if you are not yet registered with a local GP.

The University strongly advises students and staff to get vaccinated as the best protection against COVID-19. This is based on expert scientific advice and the guidance issued by both Public Health Wales and the Welsh and UK Governments.

All vaccines and medicines have some side effects, which need to be balanced against the expected benefits in preventing illness.
