For students who started their programme in January 2023
All students enrolled on the January Entry MSc programmes are assessed according to flexible programme regulations. Students on flexible regulations can work on their project/ dissertation alongside their taught modules.
Students enrolled on the January Entry MSc programmes will complete 60 credits of taught modules in the Spring Semester (January 2023 – June 2023), followed by a 60-credit dissertation in the Summer Semester (June 2023 – September 2023), and an additional 60 credits of taught modules in the Autumn Semester (September 2023- January 2024).
In order to complete the programme, you will need to achieve:
- 120 credits at pass level (50%+) or above.
Students will be allowed an opportunity to redeem any failed modules, and will automatically be registered for supplementary assessments during the resit periods in August 2023 (for Summer/Jan-June modules) and March 2024 (for Autumn/September-January modules). All supplementary assessments will be capped at 50%, unless Extenuating Circumstances have been approved.
Please note the above guidance excludes students enrolled on the MSc Sustainable Engineering Management for International Development and the MSc Engineering Leadership Management. Whilst these programmes also follow flexible regulations, these programmes have specific regulations and the above information will not apply for them.
